Overview
openiris.io is a non-profit platform enabling the research community to discover, share and manage resources and services. This can be achieved in a central manner through the openiris.io portal or in custom institutional portals. Thanks to its wide range of features developed with direct user involvement, openiris.io serves a multitude of use cases and has become a collection of best practices for scientific resource management.

openiris.io is governed by the OpenIRIS association. Members of the association have unlimited access to all features of the platform and steer its development. Users affiliated with non-member organizations are able to use the platform to access scheduled resources and services offered by member organizations.

How to get started
Members of the OpenIRIS association have unlimited access to all features of the platform. There is no limit to the numbers of providers and resources member organization are allowed to create and manage. Users from non-member organizations are able to use openiris.io to access scheduled resources and services of member organizations.
Comprehensive documentation of openiris.io's features and use cases will soon be shared in a wiki. Questions related to the use of openiris.io and its features can be asked and answered in our Q&A platform.
New organizations are able to trial openiris.io and all its features for six months. After the trial period, data (providers, resources, bookings, charges etc.) will be deleted unless the organization decides to become a member of the OpenIRIS association.
